The Founders |
Tahoe Ridge Winery & Marketplace was founded by Rick and Kathy Halbardier, whose energy and passion have propelled Tahoe Ridge into a business specializing in high quality, hand-crafted, award winning wines. |
The Halbardiers have researched and developed their winery and grape growing objectives for over 15 years, creating an industry in Nevada with limitless potential. They have planted over 20,000 grape vines and researched over 35 differnet varieties of grapes. The Halbardiers include in their success the first all Nevada grown Chardonnay wine, which sold out in just two weeks. |

Our Story
Seeking the opportunity for a destination winery complex within the Carson Valley, the Halbardiers met Roger and Gail Teig and the two couples began an exhaustive process of developing plans for the future of Tahoe Ridge. Their joint vision of creating a showcase winery complex is coming to fruition on the grounds of the historic Van Sickle Station Ranch in Genoa, Nevada. |
